A new inland based RNLI lifeboat station to be opened at Loch Ness, Scotland on Wednesday 2nd April 2008.
It is the first time in 13 years that the RNLI, a voluntary organisation, has opened a new lifeboat station equipped with an Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat north of the border. The RNLI is a registered charity in the UK and continues to rely on voluntary contributions and legacies for income.www.lochnesslifeboat.co.uk/
